Year Round Summer - Pack Accordingly
The "wet" season is late August until November. During this time, it's common for a daily shower. During the summer, things become more in bloom.
It rarely gets below 70. We've never needed a jacket. It occasionally gets chilly in the mountains.
It is advisable to pack water shoes, beach towels, sunscreen and sunglasses.
Airlines - Non Stop
We suggest non-stop airlines to Puerto Rico. Most places in North America are less than a 5 hour flight. We suggest carriers like Sun Country.
Car Rental - Alamo
You will need a rental car to get around Puerto Rico. Picking up a major carrier rental car is a short walk from the SJU terminal.
We suggest Alamo.
Tour Reservations & Planning
Due to weather and regulations, some tours require advance tickets. These can include waterfalls, the jungle and island visits.
We recommend planning your outdoor events early in the week to give your itinerary some flexibility.
